Marc Jacobs spring collection

Marc Jacobs is really different from Chanel. He uses very rich and different styles, whenever I think of his style I think of plaid. Not sure why though.

Here are some trends I noticed from his Spring 2011 collection.

bow or dramatic waisted ties

Loose pants and tops

The latest with Chanel

When I think of Chanel, I always think girly and feminine. But they sure switched it up with the fall/winter collection! They went for a yetti style, which I'm going for myself for winter. I always think puffy, warm, and cozy when I think yetti style, so maybe that's why I love it! XD
here are some of my favorites from the runway:

I love the pure white on this one, and the long coat!

This one reminds me of ice skating, I love the hidden square pattern in the sweater dress

I like the special details on this one, and the way the stripes lay

This one is my fave out of the 4, it's the color of animals fur, so it makes it ethnic! (Plus I love the booties) XD

5 fun must-haves for the coming winter season

So in our mid climate, we are about to experience WINTER! Some might think brutal and chilly, but I think white snow and skiing! Not to mention ice skating, my favorite sport. But whatever you might think of it, it'sa comin! So here's 5 fun must haves that I've put together that you could really use for this chilly winter season.

1. a nice warm and thick sweater, preferably cozy! Whether your at school or lounging around the house, you'll go to your closet for something that will hug you like a teddy bear. (Or let's say you get locked out of your house, you'll be so glad you this sweater on!)

2. Leg warmers! These are just for fun, but they really do keep your legs warm! Right now I have two pairs, basic colors, one that's brown with buttons and the other is multicolor of grays. Their perfect for pulling on when it's a chilly night or when your reading a book or doing homework. Go leg warmers! =D

3. A warm coat, these baby's are multi purpose. They can be used for skiing, ice skating, sledding, running to school, using when your car heater doesn't work, running away from vicious dogs, sleeping in, rolling around in, you get the point! If you don't have one, you sure should get one! The snow can be a meanie sometimes.

4. A cute knit hat! there popping up everywhere! From popular stores that we all know, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Forever 21, and much more to any place you happen to go to like Walmart. They keep your ears warm and can be very stylish. Try picking one that is a neutral color so you'll be able to put it in with any outfit.

5. Gloves! I found these adorable ones that had a verdant green color to them that reminded me so much of the movie Shopaholic haha. Although it's not until next year that I'll start driving and will actually need the gloves to drive in the winter, the idea is still there for people who are old enough who can!

So these are my fun picks! Use them if your wardrobe is ever feelin dreary and keep your thoughts on fashion on cloud 9!
